A website answering questions

Most of what customers ask is the same ten questions: hours, prices, parking, how to cancel. A chat on your site answers those from your own information, day and night, and hands you the rest.

  • It only says what you’ve told it. Every answer comes from one file of your hours, prices and policies. When something isn’t in there, it says so.
  • Instead of guessing, it takes a name and a phone number or email, and sends them to you.
  • Someone ready to book gets sent to your booking page.
  • One line of code adds it to any site.

It’s the bubble in the corner. This one runs in demo mode: it matches keywords against Demo Studio’s notes, with no AI and nothing sent anywhere. The version we set up for a client replies in the visitor’s own words and language, still only from your information.

Booking with real open times

Customers pick a service, a person if you have a team, and an open time slot. You see every booking in one place and block off time in two clicks.

  • Your hours, each person’s hours, breaks between appointments and days off are all taken into account, so nothing gets double-booked.
  • Confirmations and reminders go out by email, and by text for customers who ask for it.
  • It sits on your own site or opens as its own page.

What you see

A phone line always answered

When you’re with a customer, the phone still gets answered. The assistant says up front it’s automated, answers from the same information as the chat, and books into the same calendar.

  • When it has no answer, it takes a message and passes it to you.
  • Urgent calls are put straight through to you, and anyone who hangs up gets one text back so the call isn’t lost.
  • Recording stays off unless you choose it, and then callers are told first.
  1. Assistant

Hi, you’ve reached Demo Studio. I’m the automated assistant. I can answer questions, book an appointment, or take a message. How can I help?

  2. Caller

    Are you open on Saturdays?

  3. Assistant

Yes, on Saturdays we’re open from 10 AM to 2 PM.

  4. Caller

Okay. I’d like to book a standard session, the 60 minute one, for Tuesday.

  5.

    Checks the booking calendar

  6. Assistant

On Tuesday I have 9 AM, 11:15, 1:45 or 4 PM. Would 9 AM work?

  7. Caller

    9 is perfect. It’s Jordan.

  8. Assistant

Thanks, Jordan. Can we text you a confirmation and a reminder?

  9. Caller

    Sure.

  10.

    Books it

  11. Assistant

You’re booked for Tuesday at 9 AM with Alex. A text confirmation is on its way.

A simulated call to Demo Studio, played through our test setup and shortened here. The calendar check and the booking ran for real against the booking system. The assistant’s lines are scripted for the test.

What stays yours

  • Your accounts, your name. The phone number, the booking database and any messaging accounts are set up for you, and we don’t keep your keys.
  • One file of facts runs the chat and the phone. Change a price there and both know it.
  • Nothing gets posted or sent in your name without you setting it up.
