Missed call text back, set up for your business

When you’re with a customer and the phone rings out, the caller gets a text from your business right away, in your words. They reply to book or ask a question, and the call stays a customer instead of a lost lead.

What we set up

  • The text, in your words. We write it with you. An example: “Sorry we missed your call, this is [your business]. Reply here, or book a time at [your booking link].”
  • One text per missed call, not a string of them.
  • Replies come to you, so the conversation carries on with a person.
  • A link to book. With online booking, the text points the caller to an open time.
  • Registered in your business name. Business texting in the US has to be registered with the carriers. We register it in your name, and the account stays yours.

On its own, or with a phone line always answered

Missed call text back works on its own, with any site we build or with the Hub.

Paired with the phone assistant, the call gets answered first. The assistant says up front it’s automated, answers from your information, books into the same calendar as your site and puts urgent calls straight through to you. Anyone who hangs up still gets one text back.

How setup goes

  1. A free 20-minute call

Which calls go unanswered, and when: during jobs, after hours, at lunch. We tell you whether text back fits.

  2. The message and the rules

We write the text with you and agree where replies go.

  3. Registration in your name

The texting account is set up and registered for your business. You hold the account.

  4. Switched on

From then on, every missed call gets its text.

What it costs

Quoted in writing after the free call, as an add-on to your site or the Hub. Text messages and phone minutes are billed to you by those services, in your name, apart from our fee. Every service is listed on the services page.

Questions owners ask

Is this the same as an AI receptionist?

No. Text back sends one text after a missed call. The phone assistant answers the call itself: it books appointments and takes messages. You pick one or both.

Do I need online booking?

No. Without booking, the text asks the caller to reply. With booking, it includes the link.

Who writes the message?

You do, with us. It reads like your business, not like a template, and you approve it before it goes live.
