We’re at the fire. Your call still gets an answer.
Two of us run the oven during service, so the phone rings out. These texts go out on their own.
Missed call, text back
If nobody picks up during service, a text reaches you within a minute with a link to book. Reply with a time and we hold the table.
One text after dinner
The morning after your visit we send one text asking for a Google review. One text, no reminders.

Questions we get at the door
Is every dish cooked over the fire?
Yes. The oak oven is the whole kitchen. Bread bakes on the floor, fish goes in at the mouth and the short rib sits by the coals for six hours. The olive oil cake bakes overnight as the oven cools.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes. We keep the eight bar seats facing the oven for walk-ins every night. Tables are by booking.
How does pickup work?
Order from the board online, pick a time and pay by card. We text you when the bag is on the counter. Pickup runs until 30 minutes before close.
Do you have vegetarian dishes?
Every week the board has at least four. This week: fire bread, charred carrots, ember beets, the squash flatbread and every sweet.
Where do I park?
Free street parking on Cinder Row after 6 PM, and a public lot on Kiln Street, one block west.
How do I book the back room?
Book it online, pick the date and tell us how many are coming, up to 20. A $100 deposit holds the room and comes off your bill. Cancel up to 72 hours before for a full refund.
